About Saint Wolfgang of Regensburg
Wolfgang was a tenth-century monk, teacher, missionary, and bishop of Regensburg. He supported education, reformed monasteries, and accepted the creation of a separate diocese for Hungary’s growing Church rather than guarding his own territory. Periods of solitude renewed his pastoral work, and his practical leadership shaped both Bavaria and Central European Christianity.
