Delete Your Account

PrayLamp makes it easy to delete your account and all associated data directly from the app.

How to Delete Your Account

Follow these steps in the PrayLamp app:

    Open the You tab

    Tap the You tab at the bottom of the screen.

    Go to Settings

    Tap the settings icon in the top-right corner.

    Scroll to Account

    Scroll down to the Account section and tap "Delete Account."

  4. 4

    Type "DELETE" to confirm

    Type DELETE in the confirmation field and tap the delete button. This action cannot be undone.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, all of your data is permanently removed, including:

  • Your account profile (name, email, preferences)
  • Journal entries and spiritual reflections
  • Personal prayers and prayer intentions
  • Bible bookmarks and reading progress
  • Activity history and candle records
  • Subscription status and premium entitlements
  • Notification preferences and app settings

All personal data is deleted from our servers within 30 days of your request. Anonymous, aggregated analytics data that cannot identify you may be retained.

Active Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To avoid future charges:

  • iOS: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device, find PrayLamp, and tap “Cancel Subscription.”
  • Android: Open the Google Play Store > tap your profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, find PrayLamp, and tap “Cancel.”

We recommend canceling your subscription before deleting your account.
