About Saint Patrick
Patrick, born in Roman Britain in the fifth century, was kidnapped as a teenager and enslaved in Ireland for six years. After escaping, he later returned as a bishop and missionary. In his Confession, Patrick credits God’s grace for his vocation and describes preaching, baptizing, ordaining clergy, and enduring danger among the Irish.
