About Saint Mary (Presentation)
The Presentation of Mary comes from an early Christian tradition that Joachim and Anne dedicated their young daughter to God at the Jerusalem Temple. The event is not recorded in Scripture, yet Eastern and Western churches celebrate the feast as an image of Mary’s lifelong openness to grace. It invites every believer to offer ordinary growth to God.
