About Saint Margaret of Hungary
Margaret, daughter of King Béla IV, was born in 1242 after her parents vowed her to God during the Mongol crisis. She became a Dominican nun on an island in the Danube, embracing prayer, humble chores, and care for sick sisters. She refused dynastic marriage proposals and political privilege, remaining faithful to her vocation.
