About Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque
Margaret Mary was a seventeenth-century Visitation nun at Paray-le-Monial whose visions emphasized Christ’s Sacred Heart as a sign of divine love wounded by indifference. Initially doubted, she found wise support in Jesuit Claude de la Colombière. Her patient witness helped spread Eucharistic reparation, the holy hour, and devotion to Jesus’s compassionate heart.
