About Saint Malachy of Armagh
Malachy became a reforming bishop and archbishop in twelfth-century Ireland, working to renew clergy formation, sacramental practice, and links with the wider Western Church. He founded monasteries and served as papal legate amid political resistance. He died at Clairvaux in Bernard’s arms; the later prophecies attributed to Malachy are not considered his authentic work.
