About Saint Malachi the Prophet
Malachi speaks to the restored Jewish community after exile, confronting careless worship, unjust treatment of workers, broken covenants, and spiritual weariness. He promises that God will purify worship and send a messenger to prepare the way. Christians hear these words during Advent in connection with John the Baptist and the coming of Christ.
