About Saint Luke the Evangelist
Luke, a companion of Paul called the beloved physician, is traditionally identified as the author of the Gospel of Luke and Acts. His writings emphasize the Holy Spirit, prayer, joy, women disciples, care for the poor, and God’s mercy toward outsiders. Through carefully ordered narrative, he traced the Gospel from Jesus’s ministry to the Church’s mission.
