About Saint Josaphat Kuntsevych
Josaphat Kuntsevych was a Ruthenian monk and archbishop of Polotsk who worked for communion between Eastern Christians and Rome while preserving Byzantine worship. His forceful era was marked by deep confessional and political tensions, and opponents killed him in 1623. His death calls Christians to seek unity through holiness, patience, and respect rather than coercion.
