About Saint Jacinta Marto
Jacinta Marto, born in 1910, was the youngest of the three shepherd children who reported apparitions of Mary at Fátima in 1917. She responded with fervent prayer and sacrifices for sinners and for peace. During the influenza pandemic she endured illness with remarkable courage and died in Lisbon in 1920, not yet ten years old.
