About Saint Ignatius of Laconi
Ignatius of Laconi was born in Sardinia in 1701 and entered the Capuchins as a lay brother. For decades he walked through Cagliari collecting alms, listening to residents, reconciling disputes, and serving the poor. His humility and familiar presence made him beloved across social classes before his death in 1781.
