About Saint Pancras
Pancras is honored as a young Christian martyr killed in Rome, traditionally during Diocletian’s persecution around 304. Reliable details of his life are scarce, though ancient devotion is evidenced by the basilica built over his tomb and by early Roman liturgical commemoration. His witness came to symbolize youthful fidelity under pressure.
Prayer
Pray with Saint Pancras
God of steadfast love, you sustained Saint Pancras in faithful witness while he was still young. Through his intercession, strengthen persecuted Christians and all young people facing coercion. Give us courage to belong wholly to Christ, even when discipleship costs comfort, approval, or security. Amen.
