About Saint Felix of Nola
Felix was a third-century priest of Nola who cared for his bishop, Maximus, during persecution. Accounts by Saint Paulinus say Felix suffered imprisonment and torture, escaped, and later declined wealth and episcopal office to live simply. Because he survived the persecution, the Church venerates him as a confessor rather than a martyr.

God of faithful endurance, you enabled Saint Felix to protect his shepherd, forgive his enemies, and choose simplicity after suffering. Through his intercession, make us loyal in danger, detached from possessions, and ready to serve without seeking honor. Amen.
