About Saint Expeditus
Expeditus appears in later martyrologies among Christians said to have died at Melitene, but his historical identity and even the development of his name are uncertain. Popular devotion, especially from the nineteenth century onward, portrays him as a Roman soldier who chooses Christ today rather than delaying conversion. He is widely invoked in urgent needs.
