About Saint Eusebius of Vercelli
Eusebius became the first recorded bishop of Vercelli in northern Italy during the fourth century. He organized clergy around a shared life of prayer and ministry and firmly defended the Council of Nicaea’s teaching on Christ’s divinity. Imperial opposition brought exile, yet he continued encouraging his people by letter before eventually returning.
