About Saint Dominic Savio
Dominic Savio was an Italian student of Saint John Bosco in nineteenth-century Turin. He pursued holiness through prayer, friendship, study, and peacemaking rather than extraordinary public achievements. Before dying from illness in 1857 at age fourteen, he had formed a student group dedicated to Mary and mutual encouragement in virtue.
