About Saint Anthony Mary Gianelli
Anthony Mary Gianelli was born in Liguria in 1789 and became a priest, educator, parish reformer, and bishop of Bobbio. He founded the Daughters of Mary Most Holy of the Garden to teach girls and care for the sick, renewed seminaries, organized popular missions, and assisted communities facing poverty and famine.
