About Saint Andrew the Apostle
Andrew, a fisherman from Bethsaida and brother of Simon Peter, first followed John the Baptist and then brought Peter to Jesus. The Gospels show him noticing the boy with loaves and introducing Greek seekers to Christ. Ancient tradition associates his later mission and martyrdom with Greece, making him a beloved patron across Eastern and Western Christianity.
