About Saint Agabus the Prophet
Agabus appears in the Acts of the Apostles as a prophet from Jerusalem. At Antioch he foretold a widespread famine, prompting disciples to send relief to Judea. Years later at Caesarea, he bound his hands and feet with Paul’s belt to warn that Paul would be imprisoned. Scripture preserves no reliable further biography.
