Remain in My Love

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O most holy Heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you, and with a contrite heart I offer you this prayer. Make my heart humble and patient like your own. Let me live in you and for you, so that whatever I do this day may be done out of love. Receive me into your Heart, and keep me there. Amen.

Even as the Father has loved me, I also have loved you. Remain in my love.

Jesus does not want our love to be an occasional visit but a dwelling place. To remain in his love is to make our home in his Heart, returning there in joy and in sorrow, in success and in failure. The Sacred Heart is not a shrine we glance at from a distance, but a refuge we are invited to live inside.

Lord Jesus, you invite me not only to visit your Heart but to remain in it. Make your love my dwelling place, the home I return to all through the day. When I drift away, draw me back; when I grow restless, settle me. Let me live in your love as you live in the love of the Father. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
