I Consecrate Myself to You

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O most holy Heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you, and with a contrite heart I offer you this prayer. Make my heart humble and patient like your own. Let me live in you and for you, so that whatever I do this day may be done out of love. Receive me into your Heart, and keep me there. Amen.

I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.

The Heart of Jesus has given itself completely to us; on this last day, we respond by giving ourselves to it. Consecration is not a transaction but a homecoming, the moment we stop holding part of ourselves back and entrust everything to the Heart that has never once abandoned us. He promised he would not leave us orphans, and he has kept his word.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I consecrate myself to you, all that I am and all that I have. You have not left me an orphan but come to me again and again; now I come to you for good. Reign in my heart, my home, and all I love. Make my heart like yours, and keep it yours forever. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
