God of compassion, you have drawn generations of pilgrims to prayer at Vailankanni. As I begin this novena, receive the intention I carry and lead me to Jesus, the source of every grace. Through Mary's intercession, bring strength to people who are ill, wisdom to those who care for them, and peace to every burdened heart. Teach me to welcome others with tenderness and to seek healing with faith, patience, and prudence. Amen.

His mother said to the servants, 'Whatever he says to you, do it.'

At Cana, Mary recognizes a need, brings it to Jesus, and then turns the servants toward his word. Her intercession does not replace Christ's authority or remove our responsibility. Prayer for health includes listening for the next faithful action: accepting help, keeping an appointment, taking prescribed medicine, reconciling with someone, or waiting without surrendering hope.

Mary, Mother of Good Health, present my need to your Son and teach me to heed him. When fear makes every choice confusing, help me recognize trustworthy counsel and act with prudence. May I neither demand a sign nor refuse ordinary means of care. Form in me the quiet courage of a servant ready for God's direction. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Our Lady of Good Health, Mother at Vailankanni, carry my intention to Jesus Christ, who alone is Lord and healer. Stay near patients, families, clinicians, caregivers, and everyone waiting without certainty. Help me receive appropriate care, offer practical compassion, and accept each day without losing hope. May every grace lead me toward your Son, every trial deepen charity, and every encounter honor the dignity of the person before me. Amen.
