Peace Ruling Within

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, you conquer sin by self-giving love and draw all creation toward the Father's peace. Rule my heart during these nine days, receive the intention I bring, and make my life a faithful sign of your kingdom. Teach me to prefer your truth over every lesser loyalty. Amen.

Christ's social reign begins in converted people and communities. His peace governs choices, speech, family life, work, and the way conflict is handled. This peace is active: it tells the truth, protects dignity, seeks justice, and keeps gratitude alive. It refuses both domination and the passivity that abandons neighbors to harm.

Jesus, King of my heart, govern my desires, reactions, and relationships. Bring your peace into my home and community, and make me a patient worker for unity rooted in truth. Teach me to de-escalate conflict without surrendering justice or avoiding necessary truth. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Jesus, my King and Savior, bring my intention into the wisdom of your Sacred Heart. Reign in my mind, will, relationships, work, and community, until all creation shares the freedom and peace of your everlasting kingdom. Make me ready to serve wherever your authority sends me. Amen.
