Peace Through the Cross

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, you conquer sin by self-giving love and draw all creation toward the Father's peace. Rule my heart during these nine days, receive the intention I bring, and make my life a faithful sign of your kingdom. Teach me to prefer your truth over every lesser loyalty. Amen.

and through him to reconcile all things to himself by him, whether things on the earth or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross.

Christ's throne appears as a cross, where sin is confronted and mercy is poured out. His peace is not avoidance of conflict but reconciliation purchased through faithful love. Bring him the relationship or memory where peace seems least possible. Reconciliation may include confession, restitution, difficult conversation, and boundaries that protect the vulnerable.

Jesus, crucified King, reconcile me to the Father and heal what sin has divided. Give me grace to seek forgiveness, make amends where I can, establish safe boundaries where needed, and refuse revenge. Show me whether today's faithful step is apology, restitution, patience, or distance. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Jesus, my King and Savior, bring my intention into the wisdom of your Sacred Heart. Reign in my mind, will, relationships, work, and community, until all creation shares the freedom and peace of your everlasting kingdom. Make me ready to serve wherever your authority sends me. Amen.
