About Saint Vincent de Paul
Vincent de Paul was a seventeenth-century French priest transformed by encounters with spiritual and material poverty. He organized parish charities, founded the Congregation of the Mission, and with Louise de Marillac established the Daughters of Charity. He also reformed clergy formation and coordinated aid for refugees, prisoners, abandoned children, and regions devastated by war.
