About Saint Philip the Apostle
Philip was one of the Twelve Apostles, called by Jesus in Galilee according to John’s Gospel. He brought Nathanael to Christ, helped present Greek seekers to Jesus, and asked to see the Father at the Last Supper. Later traditions connect his missionary witness and martyrdom with Hierapolis in Asia Minor.

God of revelation, your Son called Saint Philip to follow him and lead others to his presence. Through Philip’s intercession, make us attentive disciples, eager to invite seekers to Christ and ready to trust what Jesus reveals of you. Keep us faithful witnesses. Amen.
