About Saint Narcissus of Jerusalem
Narcissus served as bishop of Jerusalem around the late second and early third centuries and took part in discussions about the date of Easter. Ancient accounts say false accusations drove him temporarily into solitude before his name was cleared and he returned at advanced age. Eusebius preserved traditions of his longevity, holiness, and pastoral endurance.
