About Saint Mary (Our Lady of the Rosary)
Our Lady of the Rosary honors Mary as the mother who leads believers through the mysteries of Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection. The feast developed from centuries of praying with repeated Gospel meditation and was fixed after the 1571 Battle of Lepanto. Its deepest purpose is contemplative: to remember Christ with Mary.
