About Saint Justin Martyr
Justin was a second-century philosopher from Flavia Neapolis in Samaria who embraced Christianity after a long search for truth. Teaching in Rome, he wrote reasoned defenses of Christian belief and described early worship. He and several companions were executed around 165 after refusing sacrifice before the prefect Rusticus.
