About Saint John Eudes
John Eudes was a seventeenth-century French priest and popular mission preacher who cared for plague victims and sought better formation for clergy. He founded the Congregation of Jesus and Mary and helped establish communities serving women in crisis. His liturgical work advanced devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
