About Saint Gregory of Nyssa
Gregory, born around 335 in Cappadocia, became bishop of Nyssa and one of the great Cappadocian theologians. With his brother Basil and sister Macrina, he defended Nicene teaching and explored humanity’s endless growth toward God. His biblical preaching, mystical theology, and work at the Council of Constantinople shaped Christian doctrine.
