About Saint David, King and Prophet
David was a shepherd, musician, warrior, fugitive, and king who united Israel and made Jerusalem his capital. Scripture neither hides his grave sins nor forgets his repentance, covenant, and desire for God. The Psalms are deeply associated with his prayer, and Christians honor him as an ancestor of Jesus, the promised Son of David.
