About Saint Cleopas
Luke names Cleopas as one of two disciples walking from Jerusalem to Emmaus on the day of the Resurrection. Grief kept them from recognizing Jesus until he interpreted the Scriptures and broke bread with them. Cleopas then hurried back to share the news, becoming an enduring image of hearts awakened by Word, Eucharist, and companionship.
