Blessed Are Those Who Believe

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Holy Mary, Undoer of Knots, your obedience loosened the knot that Eve's disobedience had tied. With your patient hands you untangle the knots that bind your children. As I begin these days of prayer, I bring to you the tangles of my life - the worries, the broken relationships, the problems I cannot solve. Take the thread of my life into your hands, and with the help of your Son, undo what I cannot. Holy Mary, Undoer of Knots, pray for us. Amen.

Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of the things which have been spoken to her from the Lord!

Mary was blessed because she believed God would keep his word, even before she could see how. We are asked to trust the same way - to believe the knots are being undone even when nothing yet looks different. Faith holds on in the dark, certain that God is at work.

Holy Mary, Undoer of Knots, when I cannot see any change, help me to believe as you believed. Strengthen my trust that your Son is already at work on the tangle I have given him. Let me be blessed, like you, because I believed. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Holy Mary, Undoer of Knots, I have placed in your hands the tangles I have carried through these days. With patience and love, undo them one by one, in the way and the time that is best. Present this intention to your Son, who can loosen what no one else can. Free my heart from anxiety, and lead me into the peace that comes when everything is left in his hands. Holy Mary, Undoer of Knots, pray for us. Amen.
