Light Against Fear

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

God of all healing, you sent the archangel Raphael to serve your saving plan. Through his intercession, guide me on the road, protect those I love, heal what is wounded, and receive the intention I carry. Keep all my trust centered on your providence. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

And he said to them, Don't be afraid. You will all have peace; but bless God forever.

Raphael answers the family's fear by directing them toward peace and lasting praise of God. Fear can signal real danger, so Christian trust does not forbid escape, treatment, reporting abuse, or other responsible protection. Yet fear need not rule the heart forever. God's peace creates room to act wisely while remembering that evil never possesses final authority.

St. Raphael, intercede for those trapped by fear, abuse, addiction, or spiritual distress. Ask God to expose every danger, provide trustworthy help, lead us into the freedom and light of Christ, and strengthen those taking a difficult first step toward safety, recovery, or reconciliation. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
