Companion for the Road

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

God of all healing, you sent the archangel Raphael to serve your saving plan. Through his intercession, guide me on the road, protect those I love, heal what is wounded, and receive the intention I carry. Keep all my trust centered on your providence. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

He went to seek a man, and found Raphael who was an angel;

Tobiah actively looks for a trustworthy guide and discovers Raphael without recognizing who walks beside him. Divine providence can work through ordinary companions, practical planning, and timely help. Travel still calls for preparation, attention, and wise safeguards. Ask for grace to receive honest assistance and to become a reliable companion on someone else's difficult road.

St. Raphael, intercede for all who travel by land, sea, or air, and for migrants and pilgrims far from home. Ask God to protect their going and returning, guide me safely along the road of discipleship, and bless those who offer directions, shelter, rescue, and welcome along the way. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
