Mercy for Every Generation

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you. You appeared with rays of light streaming from your open hands, and said they were the graces you long to give to all who ask. As I begin these days of prayer, I open my hands to receive what you so freely offer. Let your grace pour into my life and the lives of those I love, and lead us all to your Son. O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you. Amen.

The medal has long been called a sign of conversion - given to the hardened, the doubting, and the far-off, who found their way back to God. Mary's mercy reaches across every generation and every distance. No heart is so cold that her grace cannot warm it.

O Mary, conceived without sin, your mercy reaches even the most hardened heart. I place before you those I love who have wandered from God. Win for them the grace of conversion, and let your tenderness draw them home. Do not let one of them be lost. Amen.

O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
