Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created. And you shall renew the face of the earth. Let us pray: O God, who taught the hearts of your faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant us by that same Spirit to be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in his consolation. Come, Holy Spirit, and grant me the gift of knowledge. Teach me to weigh the things of this world against the light of eternity, so that I neither despise what is good nor cling to what cannot stay. Let me see your hand in all that is, and in each small thing choose the way that leads to you. Amen.
