About Saint Mary Magdalene
Mary Magdalene became a devoted disciple after Jesus freed her from seven demons. She helped support his ministry, remained near the Crucifixion, witnessed his burial, and came to the tomb on Easter morning. The risen Christ entrusted her with news of the Resurrection, so Christian tradition calls her the apostle to the apostles.

God of resurrection, through Saint Mary Magdalene’s intercession, free us from whatever binds us and keep us faithful beside suffering. Call us by name, then send us to announce with courage that Christ is alive. Amen.
