About Saint Anthony Mary Zaccaria
Anthony Mary Zaccaria trained as a physician in Renaissance Italy before becoming a priest. Seeking renewal through preaching, Eucharistic devotion, and care for the poor, he helped found the Clerics Regular of Saint Paul, known as the Barnabites, and the Angelic Sisters. He encouraged the public Forty Hours devotion and frequent Communion.
