A Spirit Made Strong

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Father of mercy, you called St. John Paul II to serve your Church with courage and hope. Through his intercession, deepen my friendship with Christ, renew my love for every human person, and receive the intention I bring through these nine days. Form my courage through prayer, truth, and charity. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

John Paul II trusted young people with a real call to holiness and service. Youth is not the only season for renewal; the Spirit can make any willing heart young in faith. Christian strength joins courage to love and disciplined freedom. Formation means learning to direct energy toward communion, responsibility, and generous service.

St. John Paul II, pray for young people seeking identity, purpose, and belonging. Ask the Holy Spirit to protect them from despair, form all of us in brave love, and give mentors and families patience to listen, guide, and encourage. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
