Whatever You Ask in My Name

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O Divine Infant Jesus, I come to you as a little child, with all my needs and all my trust. You who made yourself small for love of us, look kindly on me in my smallness. Fill me with confidence in your power and tenderness in your care. I believe that you can help me, and I believe that you will. Divine Infant Jesus, I place all my hope in you. Amen.

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?

On this last day we bring our request with full confidence, asking in the name of Jesus, and we surrender it to the Father's wisdom. The greatest gift he longs to give is himself, his own Spirit, and within that gift every other good is held. We ask boldly, and we trust completely, even with the outcome.

Divine Infant Jesus, in your holy name I lay my request before the Father one final time. I have asked, I have sought, and I have knocked; now I rest in trust. Grant what I need according to your will, and above all, give me your Spirit, so that whatever you decide, I will receive it with a child's peace. I place all my hope in you. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

O Jesus, who said, Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you, I knock, I seek, and I ask that my prayer be granted. O Jesus, who said, Whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you, I humbly lay my need before your Father in your holy name. O Jesus, who said, Heaven and earth shall pass away but my word shall not pass away, I trust that my prayer is heard. Divine Infant Jesus, I place all my hope in you. Amen.
