Mary's Listening Yes

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Father, you gave Mary a listening heart and made her the mother of your Son. Through her intercession, teach me to contemplate the mysteries of Christ, welcome his word, and carry the intention of this nine-day novena into your loving care. Let repetition quiet distraction and deepen attentive love. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Mary said, 'Behold, the servant of the Lord; let it be done to me according to your word.' Then the angel departed from her.

The Rosary begins in listening: God acts, Mary receives, and Christ comes among us. These nine days invite us to linger with Gospel mysteries in her company. Today, let Mary's trust make space for the word God is speaking into your real circumstances. The first mystery is consent to grace, not mastery of the future.

Mary, woman of faith, pray that I may listen before I act. Help me offer God a free and trusting yes, even when his path unfolds one step at a time. Through your intercession, may my answer become concrete in patience, courage, and service. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, keep my eyes fixed on Jesus. Pray that his joyful, luminous, sorrowful, and glorious mysteries may shape my life, and place my intention before him in faithful hope. Teach me to carry contemplation into mercy, peace, and faithful witness. Amen.
