Listen to the Catholic Bible on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube Music, and iHeartRadio
The complete Catholic Bible is now a free audio podcast on every major platform. Two translations, every chapter, no commentary. Just Scripture.

We have been working on something for months and we are excited to share it. The complete Catholic Bible, read aloud, is now available as a free podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube Music, and iHeartRadio. Two separate shows. Two translations. Every chapter of Sacred Scripture, from Genesis to the Apocalypse.
You can follow either show on the platform of your choice and a new chapter will land in your podcast app, like any other show. There is no paywall. There are no ads in the audio. There is no commentary, no host introduction, no interruptions. Just the Word of God, read with care, in a voice that does not get in the way.
“And Philip running thither, heard him reading the prophet Isaias. And he said: Thinkest thou that thou understandest what thou readest?”
Acts 8:30 (Douay-Rheims)
Two shows, two translations
We have published the Bible in two separate podcast feeds so you can choose the translation that fits the way you pray.
Catholic Bible Audio | Douay-Rheims
The classical English Catholic translation. Reverent, traditional, the Bible of generations of English-speaking Catholics. If you grew up with the Knox or the older missals, this voice will feel like home.
Catholic Bible Audio | World English Bible (Catholic)
A modern, very readable English translation of the full Catholic canon, including the Deuterocanonical books. If you want the Bible in the way English is spoken today, this is the one to follow.
Both shows are produced from the same Bible content that lives inside the PrayLamp app and on the website. The audio you hear in the podcast is the same audio that plays when you tap a chapter inside the app. We did not want to fork the experience. The Bible should sound the same, whether you are reading along on your phone, opening a chapter on the web, or listening on your commute through a podcast app.
Where to listen
Open your favorite podcast app, search for “Catholic Bible Audio,” tap Follow, and you are done. Or use the direct links below.
Following the show is the most useful thing you can do. New chapters publish on a steady schedule, and your podcast app will pick them up automatically. If you are the kind of person who likes to pray on the move, this is the most natural way to bring Scripture into your day.
Follow the PrayLamp app on your favorite platform
We treat the podcast as one front door into PrayLamp. The other front door is the app itself, where the Bible is paired with the Rosary, the daily Mass readings, a spiritual journal, the Saint of the Day, and a faithful Catholic companion called Seek & Learn. Many people start with the podcast on Spotify or Apple Podcasts, then come back later for the full daily prayer routine inside the app.
Both are free. Both are made by the same small team. The app is on iPhone and Android. The podcast is on every major podcast platform. Wherever you spend your time, we want the Word to find you.
Why a Bible podcast, and why now
Most Catholics we know want to read the Bible more, and most of them do not. The obstacle is rarely interest. The obstacle is the moment of opening the book. By the time you have a quiet minute, the day is almost over. The Bible sits on the shelf because there is never a clean window for it.
A podcast is a way around that. You do not need to sit down with a book. You do not need to find the right chapter. You press play in the car, on the train, while washing dishes, while walking the dog, and the Scriptures come to you. It is the oldest way the Word of God has been received: ear first, page second.
“Faith then cometh by hearing; and hearing by the word of Christ.”
Romans 10:17 (Douay-Rheims)
We made it free because Scripture should be free. We made it ad-free in the audio because nobody wants a sneaker ad in the middle of the Sermon on the Mount. We made it available on every major platform because the goal is not to grow a single podcast. The goal is to put the Catholic Bible everywhere people already listen.
A small ask
If you find the show useful, the kindest thing you can do is follow it on whichever platform you use and leave a short rating. That one act helps Catholic Scripture rank higher in podcast search results, which means more people who are looking for the Word of God can find it.
And if you have a friend who would love this, send them the link. The Bible was always meant to be passed from hand to hand.
“So shall my word be, which shall go forth from my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall do whatsoever I please, and shall prosper in the things for which I sent it.”
Isaiah 55:11 (Douay-Rheims)
Follow the show. Press play. Let the Word do its quiet work.
